The awards are celebrating the artisans and producers making 100% Irish work.
We have a thriving creative island under our feet and its heart beats stronger thanks to initiatives like these.

In this post I also want to celebrate my friends and those I admire in each of the categories, starting with Jewellery of course! Even though we are technically in competition, I do NOT think that way. I believe that good design needs to be celebrated, elevated and fêted at every turn and by our peers in particular!
It is honestly so hard to pick my faves in the jewellery category but of the lovely people I have been fortunate enough to meet in person or come across professionally, I love the work and energy of Capulet & Montague, Edge Only and of course my fellow Design Yard jewellers Martina Hamilton and Lynsey deBurca.
